The South African Jewish Board of Deputies expresses its sympathy with the family of Mr Mohammed Fayaz Kazi who died from injuries sustained in a racially-motivated attack. Such hate crimes have no place in a democratic South Africa and we condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms.
