The newest affiliate of the SAJBD is the Garden Route Jewish Association (GRJA), comprising the Jewish communities of the Western and Southern Cape (outside of Cape Town), including Oudtshoorn, George, Mossel Bay, Sedgefield, Hermanus, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, formed on 4 November 2007.
