ALEX 24 NOV 2013

SA Jewish Board of Deputies & Union of Jewish Woman were approached by Sive Nkukwana who runs SIVE HOPE FOUNDATION to assist with a Christmas party for the Thuthuzela Orphanage & Community Aid Centre in Alexandra. Thuthuzela is home to orphaned children and assists vulnerable children from the community.
The SAJBD provided presents, with personalized name cards and the UJW provided cakes, cupcakes, party packs and sweets for the party. The children were delighted and enjoyed the day.

Our Jubuntu book is now online! It profiles Jewish organisations and individuals who have made a significant contribution to South Africa in the interlinked areas of education, skills development and job creation. It concentrates on lessons from these endeavours and how they can potentially be expanded or replicated.
